  • Return Policy

    1. The “No Regrets” Clause

    We do not carry inventory. Every item is manufactured specifically for you the moment you order it. Because of this custom-on-demand nature, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for buyer’s remorse or size mistakes.

    • Ordered the wrong size because you’re lying to yourself about your ‘dad bod’? That’s on you.
    • Changed your mind because you realized your friends and family might actually see you with it? Not our problem.
    • Decided you don’t like the color once it arrived? Manage your expectations.

    2. When We (Actually) Screw Up

    Any claims for misprinted, damaged, or defective items must be submitted within 7 days after the product has been received. If you break the handle off your mug or rip your shirt two weeks later, that’s your problem. We cover:

    • Manufacturing Defects: Holes in garments, broken ceramics, or structural failures present upon arrival.
    • Printing Errors: Crooked designs, wrong images, or poor print quality.
    • Lost in Transit: For packages lost in transit, claims must be submitted no later than 7 days after the estimated delivery date.

    3. Shipping Mistakes & Unclaimed Gear

    We aren’t the post office. Pay attention to your shipping details:

    • Wrong Address: If you provide an insufficient address, the shipment goes back to the facility. You are liable for all reshipment costs.
    • Unclaimed: If you don’t pick up your package, you are responsible for the cost of reshipping it.
    • The “Charity” Rule: Unclaimed returns are donated to charity after 30 days. No refunds.

    4. Hygiene & Legal Disclaimers

    • Sealed Goods: We do not accept returns of sealed goods (like face masks) for health or hygiene reasons. They will be disposed of.
    • EU Consumers: According to EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications. That’s everything in this shop.

    5. The Process

    If you have a legitimate manufacturing claim:

    1. Don’t send it back yet. You must contact us first. Unannounced returns are donated to charity.
    2. Take a photo immediately. We need proof of the defect as it arrived.
    3. Email us. Send the photo and your order number within 7 days of delivery.
    4. Resolution. If it’s a real error, we’ll ship a replacement at no cost to you.

    6. Financials & Refunds

    • Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and go back to your original payment method.
    • Expect 5–10 business days for the bank to realize you got your money back.
  • Shiping Policy

    1. Fulfillment vs. Shipping

    There are two steps to getting your gear:

    • Fulfillment (2–5 Business Days): This is the time it takes to actually print your shirt, press your hat, or fire your mug. Our partners at Printful handle this.
    • Shipping (3–7 Business Days): This is the time it spends in the hands of the carrier (USPS, FedEx, etc.) traveling to your front door.

    Total Estimate: Most customers receive their order in 7–12 business days. If it’s been longer than 15 business days and you haven’t seen a tracking update, email us at support@iamnotafan.com.

    2. Tracking Your Disappointment

    Once your order ships, you’ll get an automated email with a tracking number. If the tracking says “Label Created” for three days, don’t panic. It just means the carrier hasn’t scanned it into their hub yet. Go outside and touch some grass.

    3. International Shipping & Customs

    We do not sell/ship to anywhere outside of the United States at this time.

    4. Wrong Addresses & Lost Packages

    If you give us the wrong address and the package gets returned, you will pay for the reshipping. If the tracking says “Delivered” but you don’t have it, talk to your neighbors or your mailman. Once the carrier marks it as delivered, our job is done.

    5. Partial Shipments

    If you order a mug and a shirt, they might arrive in separate boxes on different days. This is because they are produced at different facilities. Don’t email us complaining that half your order is missing until you’ve checked all your tracking numbers in the emails we sent.
